I think I speak for everyone when I say that a good day was had by all. The weather was superb with clear blue skies that made the Sunshine Coast hinterland scenery even more spectacular.
We tasted many wines and quite a few bottles were bought (temporary souvenirs!!)
The host/ hostess at the Winery's gave interesting detailed information about where the grapes were grown and the wines were made. There were various wines to suit everyone's preferences- reds and whites, sweet, dry...you name the type, it was able to be sampled.
This trip gave me the opportunity to meet people that I wouldn't have otherwise met. Everyone was friendly and we shared ideas about places to go, websites for singles social groups etc.
It was a full day and the level of chatter on the bus grew more rowdy as the day progressed (nothing to do with alcohol consumption, of course??)

I attended the BBQ on Australia Day and had the best day ever. I met heaps of people and have been on quite a few dates since. The food was fantastic and Anne did a great job. She has wonderful integrity and is very kind and she puts a lot of effort into her events.

I have been to three of the social events organised by Anne – the wineries tour to Montville with lunch at the Glasshouse Mountains hotel, the huge elegant evening party at Manly and most recently the Sunday lunchtime pool party at Wavell Heights. I really enjoyed all these events.
I am shy and sometimes find social functions a bit daunting, but at these events I always felt welcomed and that I was among friends. It is lovely to go to an event with other single people in the same age group (mostly 40+), as we have lots in common and the conversation flows freely.
They are a great group of people and I am looking forward to going to more social functions and making new friends. Anne is a wonderful organiser and puts a lot of effort into making everything just right. The food is home prepared, there are flowers on the table, people are welcomed and introduced to each other – the little personal touches that make such a difference.
I enjoyed watching the few brave (? crazy) people go for a swim in the freezing water. There was liqueur tasting. Some of the more exotic ones (chardonnay beer) were a shock to an empty stomach, but gave us all something to discuss. The food was plentiful and delicious. The game of pool was fun as I haven’t played pool for about 15 years! This is without doubt the best social group I have been to since my divorce 10 years ago. Come along to an event and I guarantee you will enjoy yourself.

I have attended Several Social Calendar events, Free Monthly drinks at Bar Zuka, The dinner at a Chinese Restaurant, Montville trip, Kangaroo Point Bbq and The Manly Party and lately the Wavell Heights Pool Party I love Anne's events.
I played Tennis last year for 9 months at NewFarm park too and really enjoyed it. Anne is a great organisor and Does not put a very big mark up on her events infact I think she makes a loss if anything. She puts a lot of effort in to making everything perfect I think that is her Virgo trait.
I have attended a lot of other Single events in Brisbane and everything is over $50 or more Single minded Dinners were $65 and I never meet the same quality people or had such a great time as I do with Social Calendar.
I am Single never married and because of my job I find it difficult to meet friendly down to earth people I have made so many friends at Social Calendar events and I feel good that I am contributing to different charities.
Keep it up Anne you will always have my support and my friends.

I meet Anne Berridge in February 2007 and we often meet up for drinks at different Brisbane Hotels. Or at each other’s homes. I had been going through a difficult time in my life and wasn’t really involved with anyone as I was working long hours but Anne dragged me along to her Winetasting at the Lands Office Tavern in May in George street with 65 other Singles and introduced me to a guy called Grahame from the Goldcoast.
We got engaged in September and are getting married late February so I will send you a Wedding invite. I never thought I would remarry as I just turned 49. I meet some very nice friendly happy people at the winetasting and had a lovely night. Anne has a kind heart and really works hard at her functions to make it a fun night for everyone.
It is not a Desperate and dateless group very upmarket Successful positive people who enjoy themselves and have fun.
Thankyou again Anne for introducing me to my husband to be and I hope you continue to do well orgaising your events.
